Minimizing the Technology Divide: NY Public Library

Challenge The New York Public Library received federal funds to offer free Internet access and technology training to New Yorkers unable to afford broadband access and needing to brush up on basic computer literacy.  In an era that is now driven by Internet communications and mobile advertising, it was a unique challenge to communicate with a target audience without computer access. Solution Miller Advertising launched an 18-month campaign presenting and promoting the NYC Connected Communities program using outdoor, print and guerilla marketing near targeted library locations.
